Skipton's market town energy sits just five minutes' drive away, but Mill Cottage occupies a quieter corner within the Broughton Estate, where the original water wheel still stands beside a working stream. The cottage itself is set in a cobbled courtyard shared with other holiday lets, with free parking on-site and a pub within walking distance.
Two bedrooms with super king beds and one bathroom occupy the first floor, while downstairs there's a living room with a wood burner and TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric range, dishwasher, and everything else needed. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. A communal garden surrounds the property, and there's access to the 3,000 acres of estate grounds beyond. One dog is welcome. Note that an unfenced stream runs through the grounds about ten yards from the cottage, and there's a step into the garden.
This works well for families or small groups wanting a quiet base with room to explore—the estate has plenty of space, and the town is close enough for an evening out.
