Broughton Hall's 3,000-acre estate spreads across North Yorkshire countryside—meadows, ancient woodland, moorland and rivers—with Stable Cottage positioned in a corner of the converted stables courtyard, beside the 14th-century Walled Garden. The grounds invite walking, cycling and exploring on foot, from the river crossings to sightings of wildlife and birds. A pub sits within a mile of the property.
The cottage holds three bedrooms and two bathrooms across two floors. Each bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that converts to either a double or two singles, giving flexibility for families or groups of six. One bedroom has an ensuite; the others share a shower room. Downstairs, a living room with Freeview television opens to a kitchen-dining space with electric cooking, a fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. Oil central heating keeps things warm. Private parking for three cars sits on site.
The estate also holds an Avalon Wellbeing Centre, a bistro serving breakfast and lunch from locally sourced ingredients, and the Land Rover Experience offices. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking throughout.
