Mystified Bungalow

Mystified Bungalow is a single-storey property in Bishopdale, set up to let you settle in without fussing over basics. Everything needed for self-catering is here: a full kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave; underfloor central heating; bed linen and towels provided; Wi-Fi throughout. The living room has Freeview TV and DVD player. Parking for two cars sits on site, and one well-behaved dog stays free.

The layout gives you two bedrooms—one with a four-poster double, the other with a pair of singles—and a shower room. Doors open onto an enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue, where rural views stretch across the Dale. Inside and out, the conversion has been done with care. A welcome pack arrives with you, and breakfast can be arranged in advance if you want it delivered to your table.

The location suits walkers and cyclists especially. Paths and rides begin straight from the property, and Leyburn, Hawes, Kettlewell and Aysgarth are all within a short drive, each offering pubs, tea rooms, shops and restaurants. A country pub serving local food sits roughly 1½ miles away. The Forbidden Corner, Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle and Wensleydale Creamery are all easily reached from here. Children are not accommodated.
