Oaklands View

Oaklands View is a second-floor apartment on the clifftops above Scarborough's South Bay. You arrive into a living room with a 40-inch Smart TV and gas fire, with a separate dining room and kitchen beyond. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. One bedroom has a king bed with its own TV; the other has two single beds. The bathroom combines a bath with a separate shower cubicle. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. One parking permit comes with the property.

The location puts you on the elevated South Cliff, looking down onto the beach and seafront. A cliff lift takes you down to the Esplanade if you'd rather not walk, or you can wander down through the Italian Gardens to reach the beach. Once there, the flat marine drive runs for miles along the bay, lined with the usual seaside attractions—the pier, amusement arcades, restaurants and fish and chip shops. The Stephen Joseph Theatre is within easy reach on foot. The Highlander pub is roughly a mile away. The property is non-smoking. A cot and highchair can be arranged if needed.
