Orchard Retreat sits within this genteel setting as a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment letting the whole place to you alone. It sleeps four—a master bedroom with en-suite shower and a twin room that can convert to a king on request—with a shared bathroom serving both. The layout centres on a combined kitchen and lounge-diner opening from the entrance hall, practical for families or two couples travelling together.
Parking is on site for one car, with additional guest spaces available. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard; you'll have everything needed to settle in without fuss. The apartment is non-smoking throughout. Arrival is from 15:00, departure by 10:00. The town centre lies within reach for dining and shops, while the surrounding countryside and coast are accessible for day trips.

This place is really special, it’s in a really nice area with loads of nice walks and loads of wildlife to see. We stayed in the Meadow Hut, it was very clean and tidy with loads of storage space. The hot tub is great, it was super easy to use and in a great location hidden away in the meadow. The hosts were really nice too, we will certainly be back again

A truly special little B&B escape! This peaceful countryside haven, incredibly warm and welcoming staff who go above and beyond to help. From the cozy shepherd’s huts to the spacious, fully gated dog-friendly area, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with your furry friends. The breakfast is an absolute highlight—generous portions with beautiful, fresh ingredients from a local butcher (bacon and black pudding get a 10 out of 10!). The shepherd’s hut is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need and more, including a little treat basket for you when entering the hut and special treats for your dogs, plus blankets, towels, a bed, poo bags, and bowls for them too. There’s so much to do nearby, with gorgeous walks, a lovely countryside pub just a 15-minute walk away, Fountains Abbey around the corner, and much more. Definitely highly recommended—we’ve found a beautiful little treasure and can’t wait to return!

We stayed in the meadow hut and it was very clean and super comfy! The hut itself is in a lovely location that which made for a very calm and relaxing stay, especially with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub. The hosts were warm, welcoming and attentive, responding quickly to any queries and ensuring we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The retreat is also a short drive from local amenities, which was handy.

Just spent a lovely couple of days at Little Orchard Retreats, and there is nothing I can fault. Great communication and customer service before and during our stay. The little extras left in the Shepherds hut for our arrival were a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The huts themselves are fab - very private, nicely decorated, comfortable, and more spacious than I imagined with everything you need for a short stay. If you want a sunny area there are 2, soon to be 3 huts in lovely sunny spots and the Woodland is amazing if you prefer a more shaded area. The BBQ and fire pit provided came in very handy. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will hopefully visit again in the future.
