Pear Tree Cottage and The Granary

East Witton sits at the heart of Wensleydale, with the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the doorstep. Public footpaths, cycle tracks and bridleways run through the village and out towards Middleham, Leyburn, Harmby, Carlton and West Witton. The Blue Lion Inn, a pub and restaurant with accommodation, is nearby. Miles of established routes make this a base for serious walking or cycling, or simply pottering between villages with proper pubs at the end of them.

Pear Tree Cottage and The Granary comprises a Grade II listed main house dating to the 1820s plus a converted annex. The main cottage has four bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground and first floors, plus a separate shower room. The Granary adds a fifth bedroom with ensuite and contains a games room with table football and darts, a utility area with washing facilities, and a separate entrance. Five bedrooms and four bathrooms sleep ten people across the whole property to yourselves. The ground floor opens onto a large enclosed garden with patio, terrace, garden furniture and a built-in barbecue; a stream runs 50 yards away. There is parking for three cars on site and a bike store.

The kitchen-dining room has an electric range, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and wine cooler, with bi-folding doors to the garden. A second sitting room without television, plus a main living room with a wood-burning stove, smart TV and Sky, provide separate spaces. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. One dog stays free. No smoking throughout.
