The Paddock

The single-storey layout has three bedrooms: a double, two singles, and bunk beds (for children), sharing one bathroom with both a bath and walk-in shower. The open-plan living and dining room has an open fire, freeview television and a stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering—electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are provided. The property does not permit smoking.

This suits families or groups of friends wanting a countryside base without fuss. The Blue Lion Inn, a village pub and restaurant, is within a mile. Walking trails start from the door—gentle rambles through farmland or longer routes into limestone country. Leyburn market town is four miles away. The Yorkshire Dales and Wensleydale are on the doorstep for exploring abbeys, castles and waterfalls.
