Puzzle Corner

North Yorkshire

Sandsend sits on the edge of the North York Moors, where sandy beaches, rock pools and coastal walks are the main draw. Whitby lies nearby—famous for its Dracula connections and as a working fishing port—and the dramatic Yorkshire Heritage Coast stretches from Saltburn to Filey, taking in villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood's Bay. The Cleveland Way runs along the clifftop with views across the bay. Local festivals include the Goth Weekender, Folk Festival and Whitby Regatta.

Puzzle Corner is a three-bedroom terraced cottage a short walk from the beach. The ground floor has a living room with a television and DVD player, a dining room and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and everything else you need. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a kingsize, a double and two singles, plus a bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. The cottage has a decked area with garden furniture and on-road parking. It sleeps six and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Dogs stay free. The village has a pub serving food, a convenience store with local pies and sandwiches, and three beachside cafés.
