Brian Clough Lodge is a thoroughly equipped retreat for six, set within landscaped grounds near Middlesbrough. Everything operates on one level: a combined living and dining space opens onto decking, with a kitchen that handles proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine included. Bedrooms spread across a super king, a double and two singles; two bathrooms serve the property. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered, with logs for the wood burner provided initially.
The private hot tub seats seven and overlooks the grounds. Parking accommodates two cars. A fenced lake sits nearby, and you have access to a shared sauna on the wider lodge complex. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The location puts you within reach of Whitby, Staithes and Runswick Bay; a public footpath leads roughly a mile to Great Ayton, where shops, pubs and local food spots await. The Cleveland Hills form the backdrop, with Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook's Monument among the local landmarks. No smoking in the property.

We had a wonderful stay at Roseberry View Lodge Retreat with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The holiday park was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The amenities were excellent, especially the jacuzzi and sauna bath, which made the stay even more relaxing. A perfect location for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. Highly recommended.

Lodge is quite spacious A few things could do with some TLC Lights bulbs not working in various rooms. Had issues with locking main door Shower thermostat tap was loose. Could do with plastic glasses for use near hot tub. Dishwasher door was loose causing it to fall when opened. Barbecue has seen better days. Sauna was an added extra Hopefully they mend the approach road I have never seen that many pot holes on one road. Overall it was a relaxing break I will probably re-book at a later date.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently, overall it was a lovely mini break, the location was great, kids loved the park, and I thought the Dog Park was a brilliant idea. The reason I have rated it a 3/5 was because the BBQ was absolutely filthy, some of the glasses were dirty, there were stains on the toilet and the BBQ equipment was moldy. I tried to ring reception to see if anyone could help with the BBQ situation but no answer so I took matters in my own hands and went to the empty lodge next door to see what condition their BBQ was in, the grills on that one was less distusting but an improvement from ours, so I swapped the grills over (same BBQ models) and gave the grills a good scrub. The hot tub was nice but there were some broken jets, only one side of the hot tub seemed to work.
