Roseberry View is a detached dormer bungalow surrounded by its own large garden, set in North Yorkshire countryside. The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a kingsize on the ground floor, a double with ensuite on the first floor, and two further bedrooms each with a pair of singles. There are two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen with dining table, and a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player. One dog stays free, and the enclosed lawned garden gives pets and children room to play safely. Parking for four cars is on site.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, two fridges, dishwasher and freezer mean you can cater for the group without constraint. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The sitting-out area overlooks the garden; there's a highchair if needed. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The village of Stillington is close by, with a community shop and two pubs within a mile. Easingwold, a Georgian market town three and a half miles away, has independent shops, teashops and restaurants around its cobbled square. The Howardian Hills offer walking and cycling routes, and York is eleven miles distant. The North York Moors, Flamingo Land, and the coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough are all within reach for day trips.

We had a wonderful stay at Roseberry View Lodge Retreat with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The holiday park was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The amenities were excellent, especially the jacuzzi and sauna bath, which made the stay even more relaxing. A perfect location for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. Highly recommended.

Lodge is quite spacious A few things could do with some TLC Lights bulbs not working in various rooms. Had issues with locking main door Shower thermostat tap was loose. Could do with plastic glasses for use near hot tub. Dishwasher door was loose causing it to fall when opened. Barbecue has seen better days. Sauna was an added extra Hopefully they mend the approach road I have never seen that many pot holes on one road. Overall it was a relaxing break I will probably re-book at a later date.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently, overall it was a lovely mini break, the location was great, kids loved the park, and I thought the Dog Park was a brilliant idea. The reason I have rated it a 3/5 was because the BBQ was absolutely filthy, some of the glasses were dirty, there were stains on the toilet and the BBQ equipment was moldy. I tried to ring reception to see if anyone could help with the BBQ situation but no answer so I took matters in my own hands and went to the empty lodge next door to see what condition their BBQ was in, the grills on that one was less distusting but an improvement from ours, so I swapped the grills over (same BBQ models) and gave the grills a good scrub. The hot tub was nice but there were some broken jets, only one side of the hot tub seemed to work.
