Salter Fell
North Yorkshire
Salter Fell comes with everything needed for self-catering: electricity and heating are covered, bed linen is provided, and the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for preparing meals. Downstairs holds a living room with TV and DVD player, plus a double bedroom and shower room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—one with two single beds, one with a single—and a bathroom with a bath. A laundry room with two washing machines and dryers (shared with other on-site properties) means longer stays are practical. One dog is welcome, and there is private parking.
The cottage sits within six acres on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, limestone country that opens onto walking and cycling routes from the doorstep. Ingleton Waterfall Walk and the Three Peaks are nearby. The market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale and Bentham are close; show caves at Ingleton and Clapham draw visitors throughout the year. Further afield, the Lake District, Forest of Bowland and the Morecambe Bay coastline are all within an hour's drive. A patio with garden furniture overlooks the surrounding landscape. Smoking is not permitted.
