Filey's quiet streets lead down to one of Yorkshire's finest beaches, and Seaside Grandad's sits within easy walking distance of the sand. The cottage itself is a substantial family home with three bedrooms, a bathroom, and enough living space for six people to spread out comfortably. One small dog stays free, and the whole place is yours alone.

Ground floor rooms include a living and dining area with a wood-burning stove, a separate sitting room with a day bed, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave and all the basics for a week's worth of meals. Both main rooms have French doors opening onto the enclosed garden, where there's a patio, furniture, a barbecue and a firepit. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a kingsize, a double, and a bunk bed room, plus a shower room. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking in the property.

Dicky Bees Fish & Chips is nearby for supper without the fuss. The garden suits families with small children or dogs who need a secure space to move around, and the extra sitting room gives teenagers or adult groups their own retreat. Arrive after 3pm, depart by 10am.
