Solstice House

Solstice House is a single-storey cottage for two with everything needed for a self-catering break already in place. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, so you arrive to a ready-made base. The open-plan living space has exposed stone and wooden beams, warmed by a wood-burning stove—the sort of detail that makes a real difference on cooler evenings. The kitchen is properly fitted for preparing meals, with a breakfast bar for casual dining or morning coffee before heading out.

The bedroom contains a king-size bed and leads directly to an en-suite wet room, making the layout practical for guests who want everything on one level. Outside, a garden area overlooks open countryside where horses are sometimes visible in the fields. A pub lies within a mile, and the Yorkshire Dales are close enough for serious walking or simply wandering nearby lanes. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking and has parking on site.
