Stables End

You step into Stables End to find a single open-plan ground floor where living and dining flow into a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, hob and microwave—enough to cook proper meals rather than just heat things up. A wood-burning stove sits in the living area. Upstairs, the bedroom holds a zip-and-link bed (configured as double or two singles to suit you), with an ensuite bathroom containing bath and shower. The whole cottage is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site and a courtyard with garden furniture outside.

Conistone sits in Wharfedale, at the edge of the Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre. The village itself is quiet most days, though livelier during events. Walkers will find the surrounding dales, crags and open country immediately accessible. The area has pubs, cafés and restaurants within a short drive. One dog is welcome, though must be kept on a lead in this sheep country. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; there is biomass heating for warmth. No smoking inside the property.
