Tophams Laithe

Tophams Laithe suits couples or small families after a quiet spell in the Yorkshire Dales. The converted barn sleeps three across two bedrooms—a kingsize and a three-quarter double—with one bathroom. You have the whole place to yourselves, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. Parking for two cars sits on site, and a pub lies within a mile.

Inside, the living and dining area combines exposed beams with an electric fire and picture windows toward Kilnsey Crag and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen is fully fitted for proper cooking. Upstairs, the main bedroom looks out over the River Wharfe; the second bedroom is smaller. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There's a drying room for boots and coats, useful after days on the fells or at Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre nearby. No smoking throughout.

The village of Conistone puts you within reach of the valley's walking, cycling and riding. Arrival is after 15:00; departure before 10:00.
