Steppe Haugh

Steppe Haugh is a four-bedroom house in the village of Hawes, equipped comprehensively for self-catering. The main living space combines dining and sitting areas with a woodburner and smart TV; a second sitting room with its own screen sits separately. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob and coffee machine. Beyond that, a utility room houses a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave and freezer—everything needed for a week without leaving anything behind. A study and separate toilet complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, a super kingsize bedroom and three doubles, each with an ensuite shower room (the fourth bedroom also has a bath). Heated towel rails feature in each bathroom. The property uses air source heat pump and underfloor heating, powered partly by solar panels, with electricity included. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are also provided. There is parking for three cars on site and an enclosed courtyard garden with patio furniture. The property is no smoking. It suits seven guests and one dog. A few points: there are steps at the entrance and between some rooms, and children under ten are not accepted.
