Stonehaven Cottage

Nosterfield sits in rolling countryside between Bedale and Ripon, four miles from Masham. Stonehaven Cottage is a detached bungalow set back from a quiet country lane, all on one level with step-free access. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, the other with two singles that can be linked to form a super-kingsize. There is one bathroom with a P-shaped bath and shower over it.

The living room has a 48-inch TV, DVD player and electric woodburner; the kitchen/dining area contains everything needed for self-catering, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. Outside, a small enclosed garden with seating area and picnic table overlooks open fields, and there is parking for two cars on site. The cottage does not permit smoking.

This is a good base for exploring North Yorkshire, whether you want to walk in the Dales, visit nearby market towns or use it as a stopover between other destinations in the region.
