The Burrow is a single-bedroom property on the ground floor, sleeping two, tucked into a hillside above Gillbeck Farm Woods in Nidderdale. Everything you need sits in one open plan space: a living area with a smart TV and electric woodburner, a separate kitchen with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and coffee machine, and a bedroom with a zip-and-link bed that can be separated into two singles. The shower room has a walk-in enclosure and heated towel rail. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, and there's parking for one car on site with a bike store nearby.
This is walking and cycling country. Footpaths radiate from the property; the Nidderdale Way and sections of the Pennine Way pass close by. The river Nidd and Wharfe both have riverside walks, and the moors hold longer routes for those wanting more of a challenge. Cyclists will find the Yorkshire climbs—Greenhow Hill, Blubberhouses Hill—accessible from the door. Pateley Bridge, under two miles away, has independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Further afield, Stump Cross Caverns, Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey and Skipton Castle are within 30 minutes' drive. One dog can stay free; smoking is not permitted.
