We have just returned from a fab weekend at the Riverside Caravan Park. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our pitch. The site is immaculate, gardens and planting is beautiful. There was a mix of caravans and motorhomes, all pitches were ample in size, some hard standing and some grass - plus statics too. The showers and toilets were ideal, spacious and very clean. Ideally located for a 5 minute stroll along the river into Pateley Bridge shops. We will definitely be back. A thoroughly relaxing break on a 5 star site. Thanks Deb & Gav Iceton

Riverside Park is a lovely, clean site with spotless showers and toilets, spacious pitches, and a great location just a short walk into Pateley Bridge. There’s also a decent dog walk nearby which was a bonus. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the attitude of one of the older female reception staff members.one with the black sheep dog cross so beware of her.We had a visitor who parked in one of the available spaces, and instead of calmly explaining the policy, she was unnecessarily rude and abrupt. She demanded he pay £2 per hour to park, even though he was visiting us on our pitch. What she failed to explain was that for £5 we could simply add him to our party, allowing him to park either on our pitch or in a visitor space. A different receptionist explained this politely and clearly the following day, which avoided any issue at all. Because of the way the first receptionist handled the situation, our visitor felt uncomfortable and left early, which put a dampener on the day unnecessarily. For anyone wondering, parking just over the bridge in town is actually very cheap — around £2.10 for 24 hours — despite being told otherwise. Overall, the park itself is excellent, but some improvement in customer service from certain staff members would make a big difference.

We bought one of the static homes last year with our family. Wow, the best purchase we have ever made. Such a clean well maintained site. Everything in walking distance of Pateley Bridge
