The Journey

Whitby pulls in walkers, history buffs and anyone wanting to eat fish and chips by the water. The Journey sits in the thick of it—a former railway cottage with a position that opens onto the town's main attractions. From the garden you can watch steam trains pass, look across to the abbey and church, and see boats on the harbour below.

The cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with wifi and heating, so you arrive to a ready home. The kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals; the garden is the real draw, a sunlit space for eating outside or simply sitting with a view. No smoking indoors.

Whitby town centre is steps away—restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes fill the surrounding streets. The coast and countryside beyond are equally accessible. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The whole property is yours alone.
