Walk through your own front door into Trafalgar Lodge and you're immediately in a generously proportioned ground floor. The living and dining areas flow together, with a corner sofa facing the smart TV and a dining table large enough for eight. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer—and there's a utility room with washing machine if you need it. This is the hub where everyone gathers.

Upstairs, four bedrooms spread across two floors give you sleeping space for eight: two king beds and two rooms with twin singles each. The family bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, and there's parking outside the house. No smoking throughout.

The location puts you between Scarborough's two bays. North Bay is quieter, with the Sea Life Centre at one end; South Bay has the traditional seafront action—arcades, restaurants, shops. Peasholm Park, ten minutes' walk away, has oriental gardens, lakes and pedalos. A pub sits within a mile. The seafront itself is a short walk from the door.
