Victoria Cottage

Kettlewell sits in upper Wharfedale, surrounded by the Yorkshire Dales' walking routes. Victoria Cottage is a 17th-century property within the village itself, a short stroll from the Racehorses Hotel and other local pubs, and a few minutes on foot from the shop. The location means you can step straight out the door onto country paths, or drive to larger destinations—Grassington and Skipton are nearby, as are Malham Cove and Aysgarth Falls.

The cottage is yours alone for the stay. Downstairs holds a sitting room with a wood-burning fire, TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen/dining room with electric cooker and a full set of appliances including a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, the other with bunk beds, and a bathroom with both bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; fuel for the fire comes with the property too. There is off-road parking for one car and a walled garden with seating outside.

The cottage suits families and groups who want to explore the Dales on foot or by bike, or use it as a base for visiting the region's attractions. No smoking is allowed inside. The garden borders a stream.
