Prospect Cottage

Prospect Cottage is a 17th-century property whose character survives in its stone-mullioned windows, wooden beams and winding staircase, all retained through a thorough renovation. The cottage sits in Kettlewell, a village in the Yorkshire Dales, with the Racehorses Hotel nearby and walking country beginning at your door. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodate four guests—a double and two singles upstairs, with a roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle alongside an ensuite to the main bedroom.

Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. The living room has a wood-burner (logs provided), smart TV and music system. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. Outside there is a small enclosed garden with terrace and barbecue, plus parking for one car on site and a garage for bikes. The immediate surroundings offer riverside walks along the Wharfe or steeper climbs into the hills; Grassington is a short drive, with galleries and craft shops. Three pubs and a village shop are within walking distance. The cottage is non-smoking.
