Whitby Wishes

Whitby Wishes comes fully equipped for self-catering: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave; the bathroom combines bath and shower; there's a washing machine in the utility room; bed linen and towels are provided; wifi and heating are included. The open-plan living space holds a dining table, a sofa that unfolds into a double bed for extra guests, and a wood-burning stove. A private balcony opens from the main room, furnished with seating.

The flat occupies the first floor of the Metropole, a late Victorian building that still defines Whitby's skyline. Its position on West Cliff means the beach is within reach via a zigzagging path through the coloured beach huts. A bar and Chinese restaurant operate within the building itself. The town spreads below: cobbled streets, independent shops, Whitby Abbey's ruins, and harbour walks. The Pavilion hosts events year-round from Goth Weekends to theatre. Permit parking for one car is available.

One small dog stays free. Smoking is not permitted. The property sleeps four in a bedroom with a kingsize bed, plus the sofa bed in the living area.
