Willow Cottage

Willow Cottage is a bungalow on the ground floor within a small holiday development near Whitby. Two bedrooms sleep up to five people: a double and two singles, plus a sofa bed. There's a wet room with bath and shower, a kitchen for self-catering, and a living-dining room with electric heating and Freeview TV. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; there's private parking for one car and a garden with barbecue. An unfenced river runs through the grounds, so children need supervision.

The development has a heated indoor swimming pool (1.1m deep), children's play area and riverside barbecue spots. One dog stays free. The location puts you beside the Cinder Track, a walking and cycling route that connects to Whitby and extends toward Robin Hood's Bay. Ruswarp, five minutes away, offers seasonal boat and kayak hire on the River Esk. No smoking.
