Chapel Down Winery

I did a wine tasting experience at Chapel Down in August and I must say I had such a great time. Our tour guide Charlie was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some great pairing suggestions for the wine. A really great gift & memorable day!

We had a wonderful experience at Chapel Down and would highly recommend it, especially to families. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and the whole place had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, and it’s a lovely place to spend time as a family. We particularly appreciated that there is no charge to visit the vineyard, making it a great option for families. We were able to explore, enjoy the surroundings and then choose to do a wine tasting. And, of course, the wine was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting and ended up buying some to take home. A fantastic experience from start to finish — beautiful setting, great facilities, lovely staff and excellent wine. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited Chapel Down Vineyard for a 30th birthday celebration and had the most amazing day. We started with the wine tasting tour, which was a fantastic experience, really interesting, enjoyable and made even better by the friendly and knowledgeable team. After the tour, we spent hours relaxing in the beautiful grounds, soaking up the sunshine while enjoying champagne and nibbles. The setting was absolutely perfect for a special celebration and created such a lovely, laid-back atmosphere. It was the ideal way to mark a 30th birthday! A mix of great wine, beautiful surroundings and unforgettable memories with great company. We would definitely recommend Chapel Down Vineyard for a special occasion or a relaxing day out.

Very interesting but also a funny tour about all aspects of winemaking by Russell. Delicious cheese and wine pairing at the end of the tour. It was a very hot day but majority of the tour wasn’t in too much direct sunlight for a goth like me that was a massive relief!
