Me and my 5 friends stayed for a long birthday weekend and it was simply amazing. Beautiful location with the best sunsets, beautiful lodge with amazing facilities and the host was great. Would highly recommend for friends and families, we will be coming back! The lodge is a 10 minute drive from Rye, 2 minute drive from Appledore which is a lovely little village, and 20 minute drive from the beach. Would recommend having a car for excursions but the host does provide local taxi numbers. The tent is fully kitted with tea coffee sugar, a kettle, grill, fridge with a mini freezer and a wood fired stove. The toilet is lovely with a stunning hot water shower which never seems to run out of hot water.

This was a repeat stay, and somehow, Wheatfields was even better than we remember it. The spot is truly special. And the level of attention to detail throughout the site and the tent we stay in (Sandpiper) is so impressive. We highly recommend a stay here - it is the perfect, simple yet luxurious antidote to busy life. Do not hesitate to book this - you won’t regret it.

Stayed for a night, recently. Really nicely setup. High quality log burner stove to warm the tent. Good gas hobs for a kettle. Nice shower and bathroom facilities. It is a very comfortable place to stay and everything is well thought out. The wood fired hot tub was excellent

Myself and 7 friends stayed at Wheatfields last week and from start the finish, the weekend was perfection. You’ve created a gem. Luxury glamping, incredible scenery, fantastic and welcoming hosts...dreamy. We didn’t feel we had to spend our evenings out as the place is everything and more. Thank you so much!
