I always try to give a balanced review ! This is a big busy site. It’s in a great location for Wooler and perfect for getting out and about for walking. It’s quite quiet in the week but not so at the weekends. There are ducks and rabbits everywhere so if you have a reactive dog be aware the ducks have no fear and scrounge outside your Campervan or Caravan door. You also have to be careful not to step in duck poo. We arrived on Tuesday and it was a few days before the Men’s loos were cleaned. The wash up had duck poo on the floor and on the draining boards. The bin was full for a few days and even when emptied it was not cleaned. The amenities block is very dated and that would not matter if it was cleaned properly every day. The Ducks go everywhere and as cute as they are can be a pain. I think the owners have just got complacent as they have such a busy site they don’t have to try. Sad really as with a new or daily properly cleaned amenities block it would make all the difference. We spoke to a few people who had never been before and everyone said the same. We would not come back and the people we spoke to said the same. Reasonable price but….

Just came back after 5 day stay, camping pitches kept very nice. Toilet and shower block very clean. Ducks and rabbits abound. Registration number security barrier for entry. Would definitely visit again.
