Riverside Wooler Holiday Park

Absolutely awesome time here with the dog's. Popeye Biscuit & Shadow loved their walks around the Caravan Park. Was great to see the Muscovy Ducks & their Ducklings also Hedgehogs & Rabbits. Caravan was clean & tidy & also the park. We were made to feel welcome when we arrived. Staff were absolutely awesome & very helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We have booked a caravan in October. Can't wait to see you all again

Excellent. Summed up in one word. Not been to a caravan for years. Been a camper and caravaner years ago but lately been in cottages because of our age. Had reservations but totally unfounded. Everything spot on, furniture and fittings up to date. Bed really comfortable. So peaceful, and pub just offside so clean and welcoming. The resident ducks were so amusing. Reception and groundstaff couldn't do enough. All in all excellent.

Spent the weekend here with family. Great location and accommodation. The only downside is that the clubhouse and pool are on the other side of a busy road (3 way junction). So if travelling with kids be mindful of this. We walked into Wooler which is up a steep bank from Riverside and found plenty places to eat outside of the clubhouse and a good number of pubs. Shout out to the Tipsy Angel where we had a good night out and also watched football.

Currently staying here . Very very quiet. The restaurant unfortunately is not on site and you have to cross a busy main road to access it , we visited last night and had lasagne and two drinks and the bill was £40, the meal was clearly microwaved and quite poor certainly not worth £40 , the wifi is not free unlike the Pease Bay park we normally use and despite buying a voucher we’re still without WiFi so we’ve no WiFi AND we’re out of pocket. The staff can’t help they just gave us a phone number which we couldn’t get through on . I’m annoyed and disappointed that I’m out of pocket in this regard, the van is as always clean and tidy but there were spiders in my towels but staff supplied me with new towels . The radiator in the bathroom is covered in rust it looks really horrible. Definitely needs updating! The staff are lovely really helpful but although we’re booked for four nights we’re leaving tomorrow after only two nights . Sorry but this park we found disappointing it’s not a patch on Pease Bay just up the road. We were disappointed especially with the lack of onsite restaurant and the lack of wifi , nope we won’t be returning,
