West House is a stone cottage in Wooler, built in 1836, with a private hot tub in the enclosed rear garden—the sort of thing you'll want to use whatever the weather. The interior keeps its period character: exposed stonework, high coved ceilings, and a wood-burner set into a traditional fireplace. It sleeps six across three bedrooms (one kingsize, one double, one bunk), with a single bathroom. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics; the sitting room has a smart TV. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included, as is initial fuel for the stove between March and October.
Wooler is a small market town on the edge of the Cheviot Hills, so the house sits within walking distance of shops, cafes and pubs, and makes a practical base for the surrounding landscape. The Heritage Coast and Bamburgh Castle are roughly 15 miles away; Holy Island Causeway and Berwick-upon-Tweed are similarly close. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. No smoking indoors.
