About Springhill Farm Holiday Accommodation
Springhill Farm sits in open countryside just outside Seahouses, with views stretching across to Bamburgh Castle and the sea beyond. The site offers a mix of wigwam pods and touring pitches, all with electric hook-ups, and facilities are modern and well-maintained — think spotless shower blocks and a handy drying room for damp walking gear. There's a small shop on site for essentials, plus paddocks where children can meet resident animals.
Staff get consistent praise for being welcoming and helpful, and dogs are allowed throughout. It's a straightforward, family-friendly base for exploring the Northumberland coast, though some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch basic for the price. Still, those views and the proximity to beaches and castles make it a solid choice for touring the area.

What visitors say
I love hiking and was hoping to book a wigwam with en-suite for three nights but to be fair I did leave it a little late and near the time of my stay, so I opted for the alternative given which was a basic wigwam. Check in being from 2pm The bed was comfortable and the wigwam was clean with a kettle and fridge. The shared shower/toilet block were clean and adequate for me as a solo traveller. There is a shared kitchen area but I can’t comment on that as I never used it and brought my own coffee machine + pods with me and had a light breakfast in the mornings before setting off on my walks, I then chose to eat out during the day but I do realise this could be quite pricey if travelling with family, so the shared kitchen is a nice touch. Bamburgh and the surrounding area has always been one of my favourite “go to” places, the scenery is breathtaking and never fails to disappoint, so is a must if you want to share in it’s beauty. I found everyone on and off the campsite so friendly. My only gripe would have to be the fact that the wigwam had to be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure. Another hour or so would have been nice. You have to bring your own bedding and the mattresses are waterproof. I do get it if there are beds to make up and an en-suite + kitchen area to clean but not when in a basic Wigwam hence the four stars

Another fantastic visit to Springhill last week. We stayed on The Meadow, which now has the fantastic addition of a facilities block - toilets, showers, hairdryers & sinks (there is another main block of utilities on the site also). Great to see The Meadow has extended considerably, offering uninterrupted sea views & Bamburgh Castle in the distance. Its a short walk into Seahouses, (worth taking a torch if you're visiting in winter months as the road is unlit - Summer months it is light until 10pm) Staff are super friendly & helpful. We have never had a bad visit - we will be returning in October and cannot wait! Thankyou again for a lovely stay.

We stayed on The Meadow on a non-electric pitch and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — wide open fields with stunning views of Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island, and only around a 30-minute walk straight into Seahouses Harbour. The facilities were excellent and really well thought out. There was access to a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, and plug sockets for charging devices, which was a great touch when camping. The shower and toilet facilities were modern, clean, and maintained to a high standard. The showers had plenty of hot water and good pressure too. One thing to note is that The Meadow doesn’t have fixed pitches, so it’s worth arriving early if you want to grab one of the best spots with the views. A lovely added bonus was the designated paddocks where you can pet and feed some of the animals, including rescue kune kune pigs — a really nice touch. Overall, it’s an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area and we’d highly recommend it.

A lovely campsite with immaculately clean toilets and wonderful, free, hot, showers. Great views to sea too. 3 miles from Bamburgh Beach. We booked a pitch on "The Meadow" a short walk from the toilets and we could access the free guest wifi to check emails.
