Abbey Cottage

Abbey Cottage is a detached bungalow sleeping eight across four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor contains two bedrooms, a combined living and dining space with a woodburner, and a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Upstairs, two further bedrooms each have their own shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, along with initial logs for the stove.

The property sits near Longhirst village, roughly three miles from Morpeth market town where shops, restaurants and pubs line the streets. An enclosed garden with decking and barbecue opens from the main living area. There is parking for two cars on site. The bungalow does not accommodate smoking or hen and stag parties; only family and couple bookings are accepted. A cot and highchair are available if needed.

The Northumberland coast lies five miles away, with Duridge Bay nature reserve and sandy coves nearby. The A1 is within easy reach. Longhirst's public golf course is close by. This makes the cottage suited to families wanting both seaside access and rural peace, with enough space to avoid feeling cramped over longer stays.
