Ash Cottage

Ash Cottage is a ground-floor barn conversion close to Thorneyhaugh Farm in the Northumberland countryside. The layout keeps bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen at the same level as the living space, so there are no stairs to navigate. One bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other two singles; the bathroom combines bath and shower cubicle.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and washer-dryer all there. The living and dining room has a wood-burning stove, Freeview TV and DVD player. Outside, a patio with garden furniture and parking for two cars on site. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; oil central heating covers the temperature. The cottage takes one pet at no extra charge. Smoking is not permitted.

The property works well for families or groups who want to avoid stairs, or for anyone wanting a base to explore the open landscape around Rothbury. It sleeps four people.
