Blossom Cottage is a ground-floor conversion on a former farm steading near Chathill, where you get the whole place to yourself. Everything you need for cooking is here—a proper kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual appliances—and there's a dining table for four that opens directly onto the courtyard outside. The living space has a sofa, TV and books to settle into. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the rate.

One bedroom has a super king bed; the other has two singles. There is one bathroom with a shower and underfloor heating. Outside, a paved courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue gives you room to sit or cook. You have private parking on the driveway. The location is rural and quiet, set back from the coast but close enough for trips to the beach; a pub is within a mile's walk. The nearest named landmark is Charlton Hall. No smoking in the property.

Fabtastic location and you get use of the facilities at The Tempus. The Lodge we had was awesome with great views over the lake, and it was very calm & serene. Great access to Alnwick & Holy Island from here, and a perfect place to base yourselves

I dont usually leave bad reviews but unfortunately feel like I have no choice in this situation. I booked a lodge for my partner and I, unfortunately due to receiving some devastating family news shortly before we were due to go, we had to cancel. As there were no cancellation policy details on the website I contacted Nina and explained the situation. She said she would cancel the booking her end and after she got a rebooking she would refund me my deposit. It has now been 2 months, I have not received my deposit back and she has now stopped replying to my emails and text messages. I had intended on booking again however I absolutely won't be now.

An absolutely stunning stay. Stayed for a week and really enjoyed it here, the location was perfect, hot tub was really good and the cabin itself had everything we needed. Was nice to see the baby geese, baby ducks and baby moorhen while we were here, and the walk to the Tempus restaurant was handy. Hot tub was good, we liked how you could turn it off and on to control the temperature as we didn't want it too hot. Microwave oven was easy enough to use. Bed slightly small but doable. Be mindful there is no signal, although this is nice to unwind and be with nature. It also would have helped if we were told which cabin we were staying in beforehand as we struggled to get hold of the owners to locate our cabin when we first arrived. An email a week before check in would be nice just to let you know which number it will be. Other than that, a fab week in a beautiful location.

Could not recommend this place enough! My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in one of the Treehouse cabins. The place is so peaceful and quiet and there is a lovely short work through to the Tempus restaurant! I asked if it was possible to put balloons and a banner up for us getting there and Nina kindly went out and got them for me! Will definitely be back ☺️
