Fairways Cottage
Northumberland
Belford sits between two very different landscapes. Head east and you reach the coast within five miles—golden sand and the departure point for boat trips to the Farne Islands lie just beyond the village. West takes you into open countryside and the Cheviot Hills, with the long-distance St Cuthbert's Way running nearby. Wooler, a base for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, is ten miles inland. Closer at hand, Bamburgh's castle dominates the coast six miles away.
Fairways Cottage is a single-storey detached property with all its rooms on the ground floor. Three bedrooms sleep six: one double with an ensuite shower, and two rooms each with twin single beds. There is also a bathroom with a bath. The living room has Freeview television. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with wifi. Outside, a large enclosed garden has seating and furniture; parking for three cars sits on the property.
The village has a shop three hundred yards away and a pub and restaurant within half a mile. One dog can stay free. No smoking inside the cottage.
