Broughs House comes with everything needed for a self-catering stay: bed linen and towels are provided, the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine, and there is wi-fi throughout. Electric heating keeps the place warm. A 42-inch smart TV, electric fire and comfortable seating fill the living and dining room, while the bathroom has a bath with shower over. The ground floor is step-free to the entrance.
The property sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double bed and two single beds upstairs. One pet stays free, and there is private parking for a car on site. A small enclosed rear garden with seating is good for a quiet break, and a travel cot or highchair are available if you ask. No smoking indoors.
The location puts you three miles from Amble, a working harbour town with restaurants, a beach and Sunday market, plus boat trips out to Coquet Island. Alnwick is ten miles away with its castle and gardens; Warkworth village and its castle five miles north; and the beaches and villages of the Northumberland coast stretch beyond. Hadrian's Wall is accessible westward by road, and Alnmouth railway station lies a few miles away for journeys to Edinburgh or York.
