Robins Nest

Robins Nest suits couples or small families after a base within reach of both coast and countryside. The whole property is yours: two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with twins), a bathroom with shower over bath, and an open-plan living space that takes in the lounge, dining area and kitchen. A 40-inch TV and DVD player are in the lounge. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all covered.

Outside is an enclosed garden with seating, and there is parking for one car on site. Access is up 15 external steps. Non-smoking throughout. Amble, a working fishing town with a harbour, Sunday market and fish restaurants, lies 3 miles away. Warkworth—a village with a castle, cafés and pubs—is also nearby. The Heritage Coastline stretches along this stretch of Northumberland with sandy beaches, footpaths and cycle routes. Alnwick Castle is a short drive further inland.
