Railway Cottage comes ready for immediate use, with electricity and heating included, along with Wi-Fi, towels and bed linen already in place. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave, making it straightforward to prepare meals. A washing machine is built into the utility room. The ground floor combines living, dining and kitchen areas in an open plan layout, with a sofa bed and Freeview TV; the first floor holds a second bedroom, and there is a family bathroom with bath and shower.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a ¾ double on the ground floor with an adjoining cloakroom, and a double upstairs. A patio with garden furniture overlooks the space, and there is parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. The location sits roughly a mile from Druridge Bay's sandy beach and a similar distance from Amble; Togston Barns Kennels is also nearby. The property does not permit smoking. Note that access between floors involves steep spiral stairs.
