Amble sits on the Northumberland coast as a genuine working port, its character shaped by fishing boats and a strong community spirit. Coquet Cottage is a mid-terraced holiday home sleeping five, positioned just a two-minute walk from the beach and the colourful beach huts that line it, then round to the working harbour itself. The cottage gives you three bedrooms—a kingsize, a double, and a single—plus one bathroom with a bath and shower. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with an oven, hob and dishwasher.
The ground floor holds the living room (with a woodburner for colder days), dining room and kitchen, plus a separate toilet. Upstairs are the three bedrooms and bathroom. An enclosed yard at the rear offers outdoor space, and on-road parking is available. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. No smoking inside. Fish and chip shops, restaurants and an ice cream parlour sit along the harbour; a Sunday market runs through the village with local shops nearby. From here, Warkworth Castle is a two-mile walk along the estuary—the castle dominates the village beyond. Alnwick Castle lies ten miles inland. The Northumberland coast stretches toward Holy Island and Berwick with miles of beach and historic interest throughout.

What guests say
Lovely cottage in a nice part of the UK and I thought Coquets customer service was very good - even rang me to ask me if all was ok and then a second time to put the bins out when most wouldn’t make that kind of effort . Would recommend
