Cowslip Cottage

Step into Cowslip Cottage and you're greeted by exposed stone, dropped beams and the focal point of a brick fireplace holding a wood burner. Everything is on the ground floor, arranged around an open-plan living space that flows through to a dining area and kitchen. The two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with a zip-and-link super kingsize—both have television and DVD players. A bathroom with bath and shower completes the layout. One well-behaved dog stays free.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all included; logs for the burner are provided to get you started. French doors from the living room open into an enclosed, south-facing garden with patio and seating.

Felton sits in Northumberland near Felton Old Bridge. A country pub-restaurant is within walking distance, as is a café. On-site parking accommodates two cars. There is no smoking inside the cottage.
