Belford sits within easy reach of some of the northeast's most distinctive coastline. Budle Bay's sandy beaches lie a few miles south, while the tidal island of Lindisfarne is close enough for a day trip. Alnwick Castle, famous as Hogwarts in the films, is a short drive away. The working farm setting means rolling countryside in one direction and views toward the sea in the other, with walking and cycling routes spreading out from the cottage itself.
Curlew Cottage is a mid-terraced house sleeping up to five, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower; two further bedrooms contain single beds. Downstairs is open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a kitchen equipped for real cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and everything else you'd need. A gravelled terrace opens onto a lawned garden with furniture and a barbecue. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, and there's parking for two cars on site. The property has its own spring water supply. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
Belford village, a mile and a half away, has a pub, shop and restaurant. The cottage does not permit smoking.

What a beautiful little cottage, absolutely loved our stay here lovely and comfortable good heating which is always a must for me. Came mid march and had lovely weather. Plenty to see and do around the area. Will definitely come back.

Stayed at the end on march 2024. Cottage was warm and dry. No sounds from the next-door cottages. Good selection of cookware - 3 chopping boards, cheese-grater, pot, pans, over pans and trays. Saw hares, owls and deer from the sitting room window. A lovely cottage, in a great location and great stay.

This is the 3rd or 4th visit over the last 4yrs. We love it there. Dogs love walking around local fields and it's close to Anwick and beaches. Lovely helpful host. Spotless and cosy place to staying any time of year.

This is a fantastic place to stay. We thought as its in a quiet town that we would have a quiet week... how wrong was we, Seahouses for a boat trip, beach days and beautiful walks. Beamish very useful trip and such a fab place to visit. Holy island so peaceful and beautiful scenery. All that including the tranquil walks around the cottage. Late night and early morning walks with our furrbaby! The garden isn't enclosed but that didn't matter. We had a screw in dog rope. After reading other reviews the night before we arrived we was kinds over thinking what we would expect when we arrived. But we was NOT disappointed at all. Yes a few cobwebs (now gone as I got the hoover out) and no cupboard space for food. But plenty of work space. A washer, fridge, freezer a dish washer and everything and more that you'll need in Amy kitchen. 3 Fantastic sized bedrooms. And a very large lounge diner. With WiFi. No DVD player but the TV has Netflix and prime although I took my fire stick. I have no complaints at all with this beautiful cottage. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here.
