Moor View

Belford sits on the edge of the Northumberland countryside, between the Cheviot Hills and the coast at Bamburgh. Moor View is one of four cottages on a working farm here, recently renovated and set to make the most of its position: moorland stretches behind it, while the front looks out towards the sea and Bamburgh's castle beyond. Everything is on the ground floor, with a living and dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The larger bedroom has a king bed and ensuite shower; the second has two singles and shares access to a shower room. Bed linen, towels and electricity are provided.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine all present. A lawned garden with furniture and sitting area opens from the property, and there is parking for one car on site. One dog is welcome to stay free. Please note there is a fenced stream in the grounds, and the property does not allow smoking.

Belford itself has shops, a tea room and pubs within a mile. Bamburgh's beach and castle are six miles east; Wooler, popular for walking and cycling, lies ten miles west near the start of St Cuthbert's Way. Berwick and Alnwick are both within reach for a day out.
