Doxford Cottages - Doxford Dairy
Northumberland

Doxford Dairy sits on the Doxford Estate, just inland from Embleton Beach on the Northumberland coast. The converted dairy building stands in its own grounds among woodland and lake views, with a cluster of other holiday properties on the wider estate. A mile's walk or short drive takes you to the beach; the village of Embleton is close by for supplies and food.
The cottage holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms across ground and upper floors. Bedroom one has a super kingsize bed with an ensuite; bedroom two offers a zip-and-link kingsize that splits into two singles on request; bedroom three has two single beds. The large living room has a wood-burning stove, smart TV and glazed doors opening to a south-facing terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric cooking, a dishwasher and dining space. A utility room holds a washer-dryer. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; logs for the stove are unlimited.
The private terrace has seating areas overlooking the grounds. A barbecue is set up ready to use. Parking is available for three cars. One well-behaved pet stays free. The grounds include a shared play area and games room with table football and air hockey; there is an unfenced lake on the estate, so families with young children should be aware of this. The cottage does not permit smoking.
