Doxford Cottages - Fox Cover

Fox Cover sits on the ground floor of a converted gatehouse on the Doxford Estate, near Chathill. The moment you arrive, you're greeted by an open-plan living area anchored by a wood burner—logs are included—that opens into a dining space and kitchen. A conservatory looks out over the grounds and towards the lake. The bedroom holds a zip-and-link king bed (or twin beds on request), and there's an ensuite with both bath and shower. The property sits within grounds shared with other holiday lets on the estate. You get a private garden with seating and a barbecue, plus access to a detached games room with table football, air hockey and a TV. There's a children's play area also on-site. Parking is for one car. One dog stays free. The grounds contain an unfenced lake, so care is needed if you're visiting with young children. Smoking is not permitted. Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa is nearby, and Embleton beach lies within reach for coastal walks.
