Doxford Cottages - Swinney Cottage

Swinney Cottage is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property on the Doxford Estate near Chathill in Northumberland. The cottage sleeps four and occupies its own space within the grounds, with private parking for two cars and a terrace overlooking the estate towards Doxford Lake. A wood-burner in the living room comes with unlimited logs included, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all standard appliances. Both bedrooms have smart TVs; the first holds a super kingsize bed with an ensuite shower, while the second contains zip-and-link single beds (convertible to super kingsize on request) and has access to a family bathroom with both bath and shower.

Guests have access to shared facilities across the estate including a games room with table football and air hockey, a children's play area and sitting-out areas. The property is on the Doxford Estate, close to Embleton beach and near Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The grounds contain an unfenced lake, so families with young children should be aware of this. No smoking is permitted inside the cottage.
