We recently stayed in Shellrig cottage and were “wowed” by the huge food hamper awaiting us. So welcoming, thank you. Great location for exploring North Northumberland. We recommend boat trip to Farne Islands from Seahouses, Alnwick Gardens, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. Accommodation good overall apart from minor plumbing issue which has probably been sorted by now.
