Dunlin

Northumberland

View on Google Maps

Beadnell is a working fishing village on the Northumberland coast, and Dunlin sits on Harbour Road with views towards the Farne Islands and Longstone lighthouse. The village shop is within reach, and this stretch of coast draws people interested in the seal colonies and birdlife the islands are known for.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles upstairs and downstairs, plus two singles also on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The living and dining area is on the first floor to take in the sea views, while a sun room at ground level opens onto the private garden. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly – electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge – and there's a separate outbuilding with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all included; an air source heat pump and solar panels run the place. Private parking is on site, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
