East Learmouth Farmstays - Stewards Bothy

Stewards Bothy is a detached cottage at East Learmouth Farmstays, a working farm in Northumberland. Ground-floor living means everything is on one level: an open-plan kitchen and dining area, a sitting room with sofa bed, a bedroom with kingsize bed, and a shower room with walk-in enclosure. The cottage sleeps four, though the second and third guests use the double sofa bed in the living space. You get the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—plus a welcome pack on arrival.

Outside, a private courtyard has parking for two cars and a sitting-out area with barbecue. The farm sits within 13 acres of grounds that guests can explore, and a five-minute walk takes you to the lake for fishing or a picnic. Horses can be brought and stabled on site if you arrange it with the owners beforehand. The cottage allows one pet free of charge, though there is a step down into the grounds themselves. No smoking inside.
