Eddies House
Northumberland
Amble sits on Northumberland's coast as a lived-in fishing port where the harbour still functions, shops cluster around the waterfront, and a Saturday market draws locals. Eddies House occupies the town centre, putting you within a few minutes' walk of all this activity. It's a renovated property across three bedrooms, sleeping six, with one bathroom and enough living space for the whole group to spread out together.
The interiors are bright and modern. Ground-floor living and dining flow into each other, and there's a garden where you can sit after exploring. One well-behaved pet can come along. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard; you'll find a kitchen equipped for self-catering. The house is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking indoors.
Amble works as a base for the immediate coastline—Warkworth Castle and its beach are under a mile away—but also for longer days out across the wider area. Alnwick, Bamburgh and Holy Island are all within reach by car. Inland, Hadrian's Wall and the Cheviot Hills pull in visitors year-round. After any of that, the town's pubs are near at hand.
