Amble sits where working fishing harbour meets Heritage coastline, surrounded by the kind of countryside—moorland, dunes, rocky coves—that makes up this corner of Northumberland's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town itself is small and genuinely lived-in: boat trips leave from the marina, fish restaurants cluster near the water, and the high street has the kind of independent shops you actually want to visit. Warkworth village is two miles inland, Alnwick another fifteen minutes' drive.
Kittiwakes is a terraced house with two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four. The ground floor holds a sitting room with a 40-inch TV and DVD player, a kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, and utility space with washing machine. Upstairs are a double bedroom, a room with two singles, and the bathroom with P-shaped bath and shower. A rear garden with patio and seating faces south. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; you can park on the street outside. One well-behaved pet stays free.
The beach is half a mile away on foot. From here you can reach Coquet Island by boat to see the RSPB sanctuary, or cycle inland along the network of paths that ribbons through the AONB. The property does not allow smoking.
