Fallodon Burnhouses is a single-storey cottage set in rural Northumberland, three miles from the coast at Embleton. The layout keeps everything at ground level: a spacious living and dining room with a woodburner, a second sitting room with a PlayStation, three bedrooms (one kingsize, one double, two singles), a shower room, kitchen, and utility room with a washer-dryer. An acre of private woodland and garden sits behind the property, with furniture and a BBQ for outdoor use. The cottage was fully refurbished after its life as a schoolhouse, and the bathroom was replaced in 2025 with new shower and modern fittings.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. You'll have private parking for two cars on site. The rural setting means surrounding views across farmland; Doxford Hall with its spa and restaurant sits about half a mile away. The woodland includes a shallow, unfenced burn, so children need supervision if they're playing near it. The property sleeps six and is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.
